Get Your Book Released at Alliance Literary Festival (ALF) 2026

Alliance Literary Festival (ALF) 2026 invites authors, researchers, faculty members, students, alumni, and members of the general public to submit their books for consideration for official release at the festival.

ALF provides a vibrant public platform bringing together academia, literature, policy, practice, and creative voices, showcasing books to a diverse audience.

Who Can Apply

The call for book release submissions is open to:

  • Faculty members (Alliance University and other institutions)
  • Students and research scholars
  • Alumni
  • Independent authors and practitioners
  • Members of the general public

Both academic and non-academic books are welcome.

How to Apply

Interested authors are requested to fill out the Book Release Interest Form here by providing before February 14, 2026:

  • Publication details
  • Preferences regarding discussion / Q&A sessions (if selected)

Please ensure all details are accurate to support the review process.

Important Note:

  • The final decision regarding book release and associated sessions rests with the ALF organizing committee
  • Submission implies consent to use book-related information for ALF programme communication

  • Academic and scholarly books
  • Research-based publications
  • Non-fiction (policy, society, science, health, education, etc.)
  • Fiction and literary works
  • Edited volumes and textbooks
  • Popular science and general interest books

Book Release at ALF 2026

Books selected by the ALF Book Review Committee will be:

  • Officially released during Alliance Literary Festival 2026
  • Featured in the ALF programme
  • Introduced to a diverse audience including students, faculty, scholars, and the public

Selected authors will receive a formal invitation from the ALF team with details regarding the release format, schedule, and logistics.

Discussion / Q&A Sessions

For books selected for release, authors may also be considered for:

  • Author-led discussions
  • Panel sessions
  • Audience Q&A
  • Book journey conversations

Note:

  • Participation in discussions is subject to selection by the ALF team
  • Discussion formats and discussants will be finalized by the organizers in consultation with the author

Selection Process

  • All submissions will be reviewed by the ALF Book Review Committee
  • Selection will be based on relevance, originality, quality, and suitability for ALF audiences
  • Submission of the form does not guarantee selection for book release
  • Only eligible and selected authors will be invited for book release at ALF 2026

Author Responsibilities

Please note that authors whose books are selected for release at ALF 2026 will be solely responsible for all logistics related to their participation.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Travel, accommodation, and local transport
  • Shipping or carrying copies of the book
  • Any personal presentation or promotional materials

If the author chooses to suggest or bring a discussant, the entire logistics for the discussant (travel, stay, honorarium, and coordination) will also be the author’s responsibility.

Alliance Literary Festival (ALF) will not bear or reimburse any logistical or financial costs related to the author or discussant.
