During his 25+ years of senior management experience in the media industry, he has gained the reputation of a ‘Turn-around Specialist’ by handling tough assignments with aplomb. He is known for consistently achieving top and bottom-line objectives of the companies he has worked with. He is also known for his penchant for people management and a deep-rooted sense of business ethics and integrity.
Surendar, who has an MBA (Marketing) from the University of Madras, had a stint with pharma MNCs like Organon & Hoffmann-La Roche before moving to the media industry. He worked as the General Manager with the Indian Express Group (Mumbai) before joining the Red FM network in Delhi in 2005. His personal interests include world affairs, sports, movies, music, and traveling.
