Hemali Sodhi is the founder of A Suitable Agency, which represents writers and advises on corporate communications and brand strategy. With over two decades of experience in publishing, communications and brand management, she has conceptualised and worked on a number of pioneering and award-winning marketing campaigns. Her focus has been on building brands – consumer-facing as well as corporate – and over the years she has worked with many renowned writers from around the world. She is also the head of communications at the Centre for Policy Research, a leading think tank based in Delhi, and consults with the New India Foundation. A dog person and a pet parent, Hemali supports several animal welfare organizations. She is passionate about books and travel and describes her best days as those spent in the company of dogs. She is the editor of the anthology, The Book of Dog, published in January 2022.
