Arindham Das
Academic

Arindam Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Language and Literature and Guest Faculty in the School of Business, Alliance University, Bangalore, India. He was a recipient of the Australia India Council Australian Studies Fellowship (2010–11). His transdisciplinary research interests in cultural studies, postcolonial studies, consumer culture theory, critical marketing, critical, organizational studies, and critical communication.  He has contributed to internationally acclaimed journals like the Journal of Postcolonial Writing and Journal of the European Association for Studies of AustraliaJournal of AdvertisingJournal of Consumer Research,  and Consumption, Markets & Culture. He is co-editing a host of Special Issues in The Journal of Consumer AffairsSustainability; Consumption, Markets & Culture. He is also co-editing a book on Postcolonial Marketing Communication (Springer-Nature). He had also published articles on Indian authors like Rabindranath Tagore, Vijay Tendulkar, and Salman Rushdie. He has co-authored two books on Indian writing in English: Colonial Spectre and Beyond: Studies in Indian Writings in English & Culture and Identity: Re-reading the Fictions of Raja Rao and Mulk Raj Anand.
